“Stepping Stones” Seminars: Stepping Stone-1: Exploring PPBC Membership This 4-hour seminar spells out who we are and what we believe at Palmer Park Baptist Church (PPBC). It serves as both an informational seminar for seekers and a basic membership seminar for prospective members. This seminar is open to anybody, but is a requirement for all who desire membership at PPBC. All prospective members must complete Exploring Church Membership before making their final decision to join. Since church membership represents a serious commitment to Christ and His Church, those who complete Stepping Stone-1 are given the option of either joining or holding off on membership until the time is right for them. [No pressure involved! We want your commitment to be genuine and joyful, not something you do grudgingly.] Stepping Stone-2: Discovering My Ministry Upon committing to membership at PPBC, you move on to “Stepping Stone” seminar-2: Discovering My Ministry. In This 4-hour seminar you will discover your spiritual gifts and how God has shaped you for ministry. We will work together to find the ministries for which God has given you passion, gifts, and abilities. We want you to be excited about what God has called you to do.
